Conduit Live

Video capture device compatibility chart

This chart lists video capture devices that have been tested with Conduit Live. The software is available in two versions: one that is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 ("Tiger") and one that only works on Mac OS X 10.5 ("Leopard").

There are two separate versions because Apple introduced a new capture interface in 10.5 which allows support for a wider range of devices and complex compression models like HDV. However not all drivers do work correctly with the new capture interface, so it's highly advisable to test a device with both versions of Conduit Live.

The new capture interface is unable to access configuration dialogs for old-style drivers, which may prevent access to the full functionality of a particular device. These devices will be listed as "incomplete" in the Leopard column.

If you test Conduit Live on a new device, please send a report to support (at) lacquer . fi
